Mary Sue Stalls Chambers

Mary Sue Stalls Chambers, 83, of Flatwoods, KY made Heaven her home on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Trinity Station Retirement Community in Flatwoods, KY. Mrs. Chambers was born April 22, 1934 in Murray, KY to the late Jeff Dewitt Stalls and Alma Lee Kirk. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her loving husband Rev. Delbert C. Chambers and one sister, Betty Ross. Mrs. Chambers started ministering to people when she was twelve years old. She loved to sing and was a dedicated Pastor’s Wife at First Pentecostal Church in Flatwoods, KY for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, but especially her granddaughter Charis, whom she said was her world. Mrs. Chambers is survived by one son, Dennis (Carol) Chambers of Flatwoods, KY; one granddaughter, Charis Chambers; three sisters: Shirley (Don) Hart and Patricia Balentine, and Nancy (Jesse) Farmer all of Murray, KY; one brother-in-law, Toy Ross of Murray, KY; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be at 1 P.M. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Bishop James Rayburn and Rev. Shane Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the wonderful people of Trinity Station Retirement Community in Flatwoods, KY and Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY for their love and care.
