Matthew Scott Hall

Matthew Scott Hall, 53, of Worthington, KY, took his Heavenly flight on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY, surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Hall was born April 14, 1969, in Ashland, KY, to the late Daniel and Arline Joyce Litteral Hall. In addition to his parents, Matthew was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Daniel Hall, and his sister, Sandra Leadingham. Mr. Hall was a plumber for Drop Box Inc and a United States Army Veteran with the 101st Airborne Division. He enjoyed fishing and attending services at Franklin Furnace Independent Baptist Church where he was a member. Matthew is survived by his loving wife, Nova Blanton Hall of Worthington, KY; three sons, Cory Matthew Hall of Worthington, KY, Zane Quinton Daniel Hall of Worthington, KY, and Wade Allen Coffey stationed in South Korea; one daughter, Madilyn Grace Coffey of Worthington, KY; two brothers, Richard Andrew Hall of Ironton, OH and Nathan Eric Hall of Colorado; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Dennis Hankins officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Greenup, KY accompanied by the Patriot Guard Riders. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 A.M.- 12 P.M. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bailey Family Funeral Home (2110 Argillite Road, Flatwoods, KY 41139) for final expenses.
