Michael David Cantrell

Michael David Cantrell, 63, of Greenup, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Mr. Cantrell was born on January 30, 1959, in Ashland, KY, to the late Darrell and Shirley Ann Seagraves Cantrell. Mr. Cantrell was an electrician for IBEW Local #1377 and a United States Army Veteran where he was a soldier and combat medic. He received welding certificates from the Ashland Vocational School in Ashland, KY. He was an avid gun lover, survivalist, and outdoorsman. Mr. Cantrell is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Rose Lee Bradley Cantrell of Greenup, KY; two sons, Travis Kane (Amanda) Cantrell of Bardstown, KY and Jesse William (Julianna) Cantrell of Richmond, KY; a daughter, Regina Ann Anderson of Ironton, OH; eight grandchildren: Lillian, Gwendolyn, Elijah, Logan, Gavin, Dylan, Jared, and Jayce; two brothers, Darrell Anthony (Sue) Cantrell of Georgetown, KY and John E. (Kathy) Cantrell of New York, NY; his special pet, a dog, Lady Bird; and a host of extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery Northeast in Greenup, KY with Rev. Raymond Stephens officiating.
