Michael Lee Mills

Michael Lee Mills 61, of Flatwoods, KY passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. He was born on August 19, 1955 in Huntington, WV; a son of the late Sylvia Johanna Johnson Mills Clark. He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Mark Mills. Mr. Mills was a electrician, HVAC, and project manager for Ashland Oil. When he retired, he was a Facilities Manager for Ashland Oil in Russell, KY. After retiring he started his own heating and air business, "Service Providers, Inc." He enjoyed boating, golfing, and fishing and his time at Grayson Lake Marina. Mr. Mills was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Deborah Jo Conley Mills, one son, Michael Lee Mills II and his fiancé Michaela Gallo of Fairmount, WV and one daughter, Stacey (Anthony) Thompson of Russell, KY; two brothers, Cokey (Leigh Ann) Mills of Raleigh, NC and Donald (Pauline) Mills of Lexington, KY; four grandchildren: Mari Jo and Carson Thompson, Dillon and Mika Mills; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral will be held at 2 pm Friday, June 16, 2017 at Plaza Nazarene in Ashland, KY with Rev. Dwight Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY.
