Nancy Ann Burchwell Bryan

Nancy Ann Burchwell Bryan, 83, of Raceland, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Mrs. Bryan was born May 18, 1938, in Wurtland, KY, to the late Albert M. and Dova B. Rowe Burchwell. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by five brothers: Charles, James, Ervin, Raymond, and Paul Curtis Burchwell; and four sisters: Louise Grizzle, Emma Jean Burchwell, Pauline Jordan, and Bessie Fields. Mrs. Bryan was the owner of Unique Fashions in Russell, KY. She loved walking, gardening, and canning. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, William Jefferson Bryan of Raceland, KY; a daughter, Dana Ann Blanton Slone (Jay Jones) of Flatwoods, KY; one grandson, James Daniels Slone of Melbourne, Australia; one sister, Sylvia Dehart of Louisville, OH; and a host of extended family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Ashland Cemetery in Ashland, KY, with Rev. Robert Jordan officiating. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. on Monday at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY.
