Nellie Faye Willis Huffman

Nellie Faye Willis Huffman, 77, of Argillite, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family. Ms. Huffman was born August 2, 1935 at her home place in Wurtland, KY to the late Charles and Madge Corbin Willis.  She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters:  Jean Terry, Ruth Pickett, Norma Lunsford, Joe Willis, Elbert Willis, John Willis, Betty Louise Willis and Clinton Willis. She was a loving homemaker, caregiver, and most of all a Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.  She is survived by three loving children:  Daphne Lea (Jason) Platt of Danleyton, Jerry David (Pam) Huffman of Wurtland, and Rick Lee (Angie) Huffman of Flatwoods, KY.  Three surviving sisters:  Leosa (Charles) Riffe of Flatwoods, KY, Alberta (Terry) Kirk of Catlettsburg, KY, and Debra (A.C.) Smith of Kings Mountain, NC.  She is also survived by five Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.  The funeral will be conducted at 1 PM, Friday at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, with Pastor Harold McKenzie officiating.  A private committal service will be held at Huffman Cemetery in Cannonsburg, KY.  The viewing will be from 11 am until funeral time.
