Nina Frances Potter

Nina Frances Potter, 66, of Flatwoods, KY passed away suddenly on Friday, March 7, 2014 in Kissimmee, FL. Mrs. Potter was born February 7, 1948 in Worthington, KY, a daughter of the late James D. and Elsie Morrison Marcum. Mrs. Potter was a florist with Luna’s Flowers in Flatwoods and LaFlair’s Boutique in Russell, KY.  She attended First Assembly of God in Raceland, KY.  She was a 1966 Russell High School graduate. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Gaylord Potter; a son, Mark (Sherry) Potter of Flatwoods; a daughter, Sherry (Ryan) Russell of Flatwoods; five grandchildren:  Justin, Amber and Austin Potter; Luke and Sydney Russell; a brother, Walter (Lucille) Maynard of Wurtland, KY; and a sister: Betty (Norman) Thompson of Raceland, KY The funeral will be at 1 PM on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Minister Angi Moore officiating.  Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY.
