GREENUP — Pamela Kay Bailey Crittenden of Canyon Lake, Texas, formerly of Flatwoods, passed away at her residence.Ms. Crittenden was born Oct. 20, 1954, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, a daughter of Nancy Mae Deer Bailey of Flatwoods and the late Lloyd C. “Sonny” Bailey. Pam was also preceded in death by her husband, Hal Crittenden, and a brother, Troy Dale Bailey. She was a United States Army veteran, a resort custodian and a member of Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle in Flatwoods.In addition to her mother, Ms. Crittenden is survived by three sons, William Blair of Carter County and Jacob and David Crittenden, both of Canyon Lake. She is also survived by two brothers, Lloyd (Cathy) Bailey of Danleyton and Terry (Kim) Bailey of Raceland; two sisters, Debra Gambill of Flatwoods and Tina (Jerry) Kazee of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Debra Keeton Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.A memorial service will be at noon Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods by Pastor Lloyd L. Bailey and Assistant Pastor J.E. Smith. Interment will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County, with military rites by Kenova American Legion Post 93.Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
