Patricia Jody Selvage

Patricia “Jody” Patton Selvage, 69, of Raceland, KY, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Mrs. Selvage was born March 16, 1948, in Floyd County, KY. She was a daughter to the late James and Maggie Tussey Patton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Selvage was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Billy Carl Selvage Sr.; three brothers, Okie Watkins, Arnold Patton, James “Tooter” Patton; and two sisters, Imogene Minnehan and Dessie Fulks. Mrs. Selvage was a retired teacher from Ashland Child Development Center where she worked for 16 years. She was a mother to a lot of kids, loved her family, and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Selvage is survived by one son, Billy (Amy) Selvage Jr. of Raceland, KY; one daughter, Jerri (Mike) Womack of Raceland, KY; four grandchildren: Todd (Tabby) Selvage, Sara Selvage, Michael (Jessica) Womack, and Will Womack; one great grandchild, Sara Beth Womack; two brothers, Johnny Patton of Flatwoods, KY and Gary (Becky) Patton of Coal Grove, OH; and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Roger Bonzo officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Garden in Flatwoods, KY. Visitation will be after 11 A.M. on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association. P.O.
