Patricia "Trish" Diane Keeton Akers

Patricia “Trish” Diane Keeton Akers, 58, of Medway, OH, formerly of Greenup, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Kettering Medical Hospital in Dayton, OH, surrounded by her loved ones.

Patricia was born October 23, 1964, in Columbus, OH, to the late Russell Edward Keeton and Shirley Jacobs Keeton of Worthington, KY.

Trish was very compassionate, cared for others, and was selfless to the point of giving “the shirt off her back”. She was a homemaker who loved cooking and baking. Trish was a 1982 graduate of Greenup County High School in Greenup, KY and a member of Cornerstone Church of God in Springfield, OH.

In addition to her mother, Trish is survived by her loving husband of twenty-two years, Harry M. “Sam” Akers of Medway, OH; three daughters, Trista N. Blankenship of Medway, OH, Kylee Akers of Medway, OH, and Brittany Paige Akers of Paintsville, KY; two brothers, Jr. (Donetta) Keeton of Vanceburg, KY and Aaron (Benni) Keeton of Ashland, KY; three sisters, Teresa (Tim) Hampton of Worthington, KY, Rebecca (John) Cordle of Flatwoods, KY, and Malissa (Earl) Dishman of Huntington, WV; fourteen nieces and nephews: Terena, Nathan, Christina, Shannon, Tanya, Shawna, Rachel, Keith, Mark, Kristen, David, Sarah, Anna, and Jonathan; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Pastor John Rice and Pastor Lloyd L. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery in Ashland, KY.

Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. to the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
