Peggy Ann Perkins

Peggy Ann Perkins, 86, of Flatwoods, KY, made Heaven her home on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Ms. Perkins was born July 27, 1931 in Ashland, KY to the late William and Gladys Conley. In addition to her parents Ms. Perkins was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Daniels; three brothers: William, Paul, and John Conley; and one sister, Shirley Conley. Ms. Perkins was a clerk at the Greenup County Clerk’s Office and attended Oak Street Chapel Freewill Baptist in Flatwoods, KY. Ms. Perkins is survived by three sons, Steve (Brenda) Thompson of Greenup, KY, Mike (Marilyn) Thompson of Flatwoods, KY, and Tim Thompson of Flatwoods, KY; one daughter, Peggy (Jeff) Hensley of Flatwoods, KY; eleven grandchildren: Steven Thompson Jr., Russell Thompson, Kay Duke, Sherry Mills, Angie Greer, Curtis Daniels, Michael Thompson, Melissa Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Jeffrey Hensley, and Pete Hensley; twenty six great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Bailey of Columbus, OH and Freda Hayes of Bluffton, IN; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Johnsey Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY.
