Ray Cook

Ray Cook 1954 - 2016   Alex Ray Cook, 62, of Flatwoods, KY passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, KY. Mr. Cook was born on April 13, 1954 in Lexington, KY; a son of the late Curtis Ray and Geraldine Branham Cook. Ray was the owner of Service Office Supply and Printing in Flatwoods, KY.  He was of the Baptist Faith. He will be greatly missed by his wife of over forty two years, Sheila Cook; two sons: Jason Ray Cook of Raceland, KY and Joshua Alexander Cook, and his wife Devon, of Flatwoods, KY; six grandchildren: Brittany Lynn Cook, Braden Ray Cook, Lace Alexandria Cook, Logan Alexander Cook, Rose France, and Lennon Pyles; two brothers: Bill Cook of Flatwoods, KY and Paul Cook of Ashland, KY; two sisters: Frances Castle, and her husband, Kelly, of Louisa, KY, and Donna Yates Heffley, and her husband, George, of Baltimore, Maryland; and a host of loving extended family and dear friends. The funeral will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Kevin Whitt officiating.  Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY. The visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 am until service time.  In addition to flowers, donations may be made in Ray's memory to a local church or local organization that aids children and families in need.
