Robert Allen Gross

Robert Allen Gross, 55, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in Huntington, WV. Mr. Gross was born on May 21, 1961 in Albany, Oregon; a son of the late Joseph Samuel Gross and Riva Ruby Slabot Warren. Mr. Gross was a veteran of the United States Navy, and  attended Worthington Church of the Nazarene in Worthington, KY.  He had several jobs related to the medical field, his latest being a phlebotomist for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Mr. Gross is survived by his wife, Heather Lea Gross; two daughters: Angel Gross of Ashland, KY and Maya Gross of Westminster, VT; two brothers: David Gross of Oahu, HI, and Arrill Warren of Columbia, SC; two sisters: Lee (Mike) D'Elia of Munising, MI, and Jennie Benoit of Brattleboro, VT; a step-father Harris Warren of NY; a niece Amanda Scheid of Munising, MI; a nephew, Joseph D'Elia of White Cloud, MI, and a great nephew, Jon D'Elia. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at First Church of the Nazarene  in Worthington, KY with Pastor David Seals and Pastor Jeff Skinner officiating.  Visitation will begin at 12 pm at the church.
