Robert Lee Hale

Robert Lee Hale, 85, of Flatwoods, KY passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Mr. Hale was born on December 16, 1928 in New Boston, OH; a son of the late, Alex and Garnet May Alexander Hale.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Timothy Dwayne Hale, step-son, Jimmy Anderson, and a sister, Wilmida Hale. He was a retired chemical worker in Indiana, and a retired truck driver for Green Trucking. Mr. Hale was loved much by his wife, children, and family. He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Anna Fisher Hale; a son, Robert D. (Teresa) Hale of Franklin Furnace, OH; two daughters: Vickie (Frank) Boggs of Ashland, KY and Debbie (Allen) Dean of Raceland, KY; three step-sons: Andy (Donna) Anderson of San Diego, CA, Louie Anderson of Deerfield, FL, Timmy (Mary) Anderson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; three step-daughters: Pamela Anderson of Portage, IN, Jackie (John) McElhaney of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Tammy (Steve) Larmore of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 14 step grandchildren, and 21 step great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Rev. Lloyd L. Bailey officiating.  Burial will follow at Alexander Baglin Cemetery in Load, KY. The visitation will be from 12 pm until 1 pm at the funeral home.
