Roger Emanual Dodson

Roger Emanual Dodson, 85, of Pedro, OH, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at his residences surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Dodson was born on September 2, 1935, in Baltimore, OH to the late Walter and Edna Phillips Dodson. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his loving wife, Norma Easterling Dodson, as well as several brothers and sisters. Mr. Dodson processed tile for Carlyle Tile and a self-employed painter. He was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Mr. Dodson is survived by three sons, Roger Emanual Dodson Jr. of Huntington, WV, William Earl Dodson of Pedro, OH, and John Burton Dodson of Ironton, OH; four daughters, Melissa Faye Bellomy of Pedro, OH, Edna Elizabeth Dodson of Catlettsburg, KY, Joyce Kay Dodson of Colegrove, OH, and Vicki Lynn Aldridge of Pedro, OH; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
