Ronald Jerry Fannin

Ronald Jerry Fannin, 70, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at his residence in the presence of his loving wife. Mr. Fannin was born on October 18, 1951, in Ashland, KY, to the late Jerry Fannin Jr. and Ora Lee Arnett Fannin. Ronald was a welder for National Mines and retired from Boyd County Fiscal Court. He was of the Christian faith. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Janet E. Cumpton Fannin of Ashland, KY; his daughter, Jacqueline (Hunter) McCormick of Cleveland, OH; three grandchildren: Sienna, Brayton, and Rylan; a sister, Pamela (James) Kennedy of Boyd County, KY; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Gene Easterling officiating.
