Ronald Lee Salyers

Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Salyers, 57, of Flatwoods, KY passed away on February 1, 2017. Mr. Salyers was born on August 20, 1959 in Ashland, KY; a son of the late Clayton and Lois Cook Salyers. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Steve Salyers. Mr. Salyers' previous employers were: McSweeney’s Inc. in South Point, OH, Brown’s Plumbing, and JAD’s Enterprises in Greenup, KY. Mr. Salyers attended Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle in Flatwoods, KY. He is survived by one son: Aaron Lee Salyers of Flatwoods, KY;  one daughter, Beth Ann Akers of Ashland, KY, and one grandson, Brandon. He is also survived by one brother: Larry (Rita) Salyers of Worthington, KY; three sisters: Nancy Wilhelm, Rhonda Bailey, and Tammy (Bill) Spears of Flatwoods, KY; one sister-in-law, Sandy Salyers of Westwood, KY, and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral service will be at 1pm on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Lloyd L. Bailey and Rev. J.E. Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
