Sandra Cook

Sandra Kay Keeling Cook, 60, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Ms. Cook was born on September 23, 1954 in Ashland, KY; a daughter of the late Betty Francis Starcher Sammons.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Yates. She was a day care provider for the State of Ohio and attended Christian Faith Outreach in Ashland, KY. She is survived by a son, Denny E. “J.R.” (Kayla) Clark, Jr., of Louisa, KY; two daughters: Lezah Cook of Ashland, KY and Jamie Cook of Columbus, OH; eight grandchildren; Logan, Bentley, Jaxon, Levi, Jaycee, Titus, Ian, and Karma; two brothers: Hobert Mullins of Tampa, FL and Jeff Sammons of South Point, OH; three sisters:  Roberta Kever of Raceland, KY and Susan Durrance and Kathy Graham both of Eustis, FL. A memorial service is scheduled at 5 PM on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Jim Curley officiating.
