Sandra Sue Clay Grizzle

Sandra “Sue” Clay Grizzle, 71, of Flatwoods, KY passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Grizzle was born July 31, 1946 in Flatwoods, KY, a daughter to the late James Earsel and Gleyma Louisa Short Clay. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grizzle was preceded in death by two sons: Mark and James Corbin; her twin brother, Jackie Clay; one sister, Jane Cordle; one niece, Buffy Arthur; and one nephew, Christopher Spencer. Mrs. Grizzle was a retired Nurse (LPN) and worked for many healthcare facilities. She also had a degree in Telecommunications and worked at Walmart in Ashland, KY for seven years. Mrs. Grizzle enjoyed crocheting, playing computer games, and always made time for “Days of Our Lives”. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Grizzle is survived by her loving husband, Roy E. Grizzle; three daughters: Kimberly Botts of Flatwoods, KY, Carla (Jason) Tackett of Russell, KY, Darla (Greg) Jones of Morehead, KY; one step daughter, Angela Pekar of Sealy, TX; one sister, Jamie Spencer of Yakima, WA; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and special friends: Lois Barker, Nancy Traylor, Jeff and Della Arnett. Funeral Service will be at 12 P.M. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Rev. Lloyd L. Bailey officiating.
