Shanda Gail Kees Tackett

Shanda Gail Kees Tackett, 58, of Catlettsburg, KY passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at King Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 4, 1959 in Charleston, WV, the daughter of the late Clifford Kees. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Willie D. Tackett. Mrs. Tackett was a former Dispatcher for Raceland-Worthington and Flatwoods Police Departments. Mrs. Tackett is survived by her mother: Shirley Lunsford Kees and two loving children. One son: Waylon Tackett and his fiancé, Youlanda Lee of Ashland, KY; one daughter: Katie Tackett of Greenup, KY; and four grandchildren: Holly, Lola, Ella, and Kaylee; one brother: Mark Kees of Raceland, KY; and three sisters: Vivian Walker and her husband Ronald of Worthington, KY; Bonnie Domina of Middle Port, OH; and Greathel Fannin and her husband Billy of Worthington, KY and a host of extended family and friends. There are no services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, Ky.
