Sharon Kay Cordle

Sharon Kay Cordle, 62, of Wheelersburg, OH, formally of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Mrs. Cordle was born on July 14, 1960, in Russell, KY, to the late Earl and Peggy Copley Menshouse.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by a son, Brad Cordle and a daughter, Tonya Wright.

Sharon was a homemaker who loved her family and a 1978 graduate of Russell High School.

Mrs. Cordle is survived by her loving husband, Rocky Lane Cordle of Wheelersburg, OH; a son, Ed (Melissa) Wright of Hazard, KY; a daughter, Tiffany (Tony) Watkins of London, KY; three grandchildren: Hunter Terry, Maryjane Terry, and Destiny Watkins; her brother, Greg Menhouse of Raceland, KY; three sisters, Karen Whitt of Ashland, KY, Peggy (Marty) Cox of Flatwoods, KY, and Marianne (Tony) Bucci of Huntington, WV; special family members, Charlie and Barb Hall of Ashland, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Rev. Jason A. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Russell, KY.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
