Sharon E. Gallaher Dishman, 75, of Lavalette, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. Mrs. Dishman was born February 22, 1945, in Huntington, WV, to the late Earl Walker and Hazel “Pinky” Arrington Gallaher. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Paul Dishman. Mrs. Dishman was a ward clerk for Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was also a dedicated homemaker who loved caring for her family. She was a member of Bear Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church in Catlettsburg, KY. Mrs. Dishman is survived by her son, Earl (Malissa) Dishman of Huntington, WV; a daughter, Becky (Bill) McCallister of Huntington, WV; seven grandchildren, Chelsie Brooks of Proctorville, OH, Caleb Brooks of Huntington, WV, Tyler and Cameron McCallister of Huntington, WV, Sarah Dishman of Dayton, OH, and Anna and Jonathan Dishman of Huntington, WV; one great-grandchild, Waylon Brooks; one sister, Kay (Dean) Sutliff of Prior Lake, MN; a niece, Mary Elizabeth (Steve) Hoback Johnson; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Pastor Mike Moore and Rev. Tommy Romans officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington, WV. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at the funeral home.
