Sharon Dee William Kemper

Sharon Dee Williams Kemper, 71, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Sharon was born August 2, 1952, in Ashland, KY, to the late Virgil E. Williams and Ella Marie Douglas Williams.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Danny L. Kemper, and two brothers, Dennis Williams and Bill Williams.

Sharon was a secretary for Putnam Agency in Ashland, KY; She graduated from Wurtland High School in Wurtland, KY; and was of the Baptist faith.

Sharon is survived by her son, Chris (Brandy) Kemper of Lexington, KY; two grandchildren: Sydney and Daniel Kemper; four brothers, James (Patty) Williams of Russell, KY, Robert (Marietta) Williams of Russell, KY, Phillip (Pam) Williams of Russell, KY, and Ted (Robin) Williams of Flatwoods, KY; her sister, Deloris Flocker of Russell, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Rev. Lloyd L. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Caroline Cemetery in Raceland, KY.

Public visitation will begin at noon on Saturday at the funeral home.
