Shirley Ann Allen

Shirley Ann Allen, 67, of Ashland, KY, formerly of Ft. Pierce, FL, went home to be with Jesus, on Monday, April 29, 2013 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Mrs. Allen was born April 26, 1946 in Vero Beach, FL, a daughter of the late Edward Franklin and Martha Burrell Whitehead Hartsfield.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Allen, and her brother, David Hartsfield. She was a retired cashier for Publix, a 1964 graduate of Dan McCarty High School in Ft. Pierce, FL, a member of Faith Christian Assembly of Flatwoods, KY, and a former member of Sunrise Tabernacle, Ft. Pierce, FL. She was a bold prayer warrior, and loved to pray for folks and see them receive their healing. She is survived by her loving family: a daughter, Deborah Ann and her husband, Brenton Lee Reynolds of Caryville, FL; a son, Frank and his wife, Amy Shepard of Ashland, KY; a step-son, Terry (Linda) Allen of Cambellsburg, IN; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Brittany, and Autumn Shamburger; Sabrina and  Brionna Reynolds; Isaac Shepard, and Dena Allen; three great grandchildren: Elizabeth, Bentley, and Lauren Shamburger, and one unborn great grandson, Landon Gibson; a brother, Robert “Doc” Hartsfield, and a sister, Joyce, and her husband, Bill Crooks of Ft. Pierce, FL. The memorial service will be at 7 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Faith Christian Assembly in Flatwoods, KY.  Burial will be at White City Cemetery in Ft. Pierce, FL.  Family will receive friends from 6 PM until service time at the church.  In lieu flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to aid with final expenses.  Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY has been entrusted with the arrangements.  Condolences may be sent to BaileyFamilyFuneralHome.com.
