Timothy Mark Erwin Sr.

Timothy Mark Erwin Sr., 68, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Woodland Oaks Healthcare Facility in Ashland, KY.

Mr. Erwin was born on April 8, 1955, in Ashland, KY, to the late Claude Erwin and Mary Ratliff Erwin.

In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his two sons: Timothy Mark Erwin Jr. and James Matthew Erwin.

Mr. Erwin was a foreman for CSX in Raceland, KY. He was an avid beekeeper and could fix anything. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars. Mr. Erwin was a 1973 graduate of Paul Blazer High School in Ashland, KY, and a member of Rosehill Baptist Church in Rosehill, KY.

Mr. Erwin is survived by his daughter, Christa (Greg) Spears of Catlettsburg, KY; stepdaughter, Lindsay (Jesse) DeRossett; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Chris (Linda) Erwin of Ashland, KY; a sister, Marcia Boles of Ironton, OH; wife, Connie Erwin of Ashland, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral will be held at noon on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with Pastor Larry Barker officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Burial Park in Ashland, KY.

Visitation will be one hour before the service on Friday at the funeral home.
