Verna Delores “Doris” Renfroe, 87, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.Mrs. Renfroe was born April 2, 1931, in Ashland, KY, to the late Giles and Ollie Gallihue Griffith.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Renfroe was preceded in death by one son, Allen Renfroe.Mrs. Renfroe was a member of Summitt Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for many years.Mrs. Renfroe is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Armond Lowell Renfroe of Ashland, KY; one son, David Earl (Carla) Renfroe of Ashland, KY; three grandchildren, J.C. Renfroe and David Michael (Tanya Slavens) Renfroe both of Ashland, KY, and Jackie Suzanne (Alan) Burns of Cattletsburg, KY; eight great-grandchildren: Aaron, Shelby, Ryan, Natasha, Amber, Kelsey, Shane, and Ian; nine great-great-grandchildren: Gage, Cooper, Ariel, Maverick, Rhylann, Emerson, Cashton, Daylin, and Declan; and a host of extended family and friends.Funeral Service will be held at 12 P.M. on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY.
