Virginia Ann Cordle

Virginia Ann Cordle, 86, of Ashland, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.

Virginia was born May 26, 1938, in Greenup, KY, to the late James and Mary Griffith Oney.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Cordle; a son, Robert Cordle; three brothers: James Oney, Silas Oney, and Michael Oney; and three sisters: Frances Leibee, Carolyn Sue Oney, and Lena Leibee.

Virginia worked in housekeeping at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Bellefonte, KY, and was a member of Ashland Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ashland, KY.

Virginia is survived by two sons, Clifford Cordle and Gregory (Lois) Cordle both of Ashland, KY; her daughter, Linda (Ronnie) Evans of Ashland, KY; a grandson, Ronnie (Lisa) Evans; three great-grandchildren, Ronnie Ray (Kayla) Evans III of Waddy, KY, Andrew (Erica) Evans of Jeffersonville, IN, and Alisa (Gordan) Bloomfield of Vanceburg, KY; two sisters, Wanda Faye Tackett of Lexington, KY and Dorothy Yates of Greenup, KY; and a host of extended family and friends.
