Willena Duffie Thomas

Willena Duffie Short Thomas, 78, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.

Mrs. Thomas was born January 26, 1946, in Greenup County, KY, to the late Earny Lee Short and Pauline Frasure Short Davidson.

Mrs. Thomas was a bookkeeper for Hensley Petroleum.

She is survived by her loving husband of forty-six years, David Thomas of Flatwoods, KY; her son, Kylan Ray Middleton of Flatwoods, KY; her daughter, Donessa Lynn (Tim) McCarty of Boyd County, KY; four grandchildren: Tinessa McCarty, Timmy McCarty, Jessica Spears, and Kylan Lee Middleton; several great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

There is no service scheduled at this time.

The family has entrusted Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY, with the arrangements.
