William Keith Burkhardt

William Keith Burkhardt, 62, of Wurtland, KY passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Mr. Burkhardt was born July 15, 1953 in Wurtland, KY; a son of Roscoe Vernon Burkhardt and the late Phyllis Joyce Fannin Burkhardt.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Burkhardt, and a sister, Kathy Reed. Mr. Burkhardt was a mechanic for Kentucky State Highway Department and for Irwin’s Garage. In addition to his father, Mr. Burkhardt is survived by a son, Jason Burkhardt, and his wife, Victoria, of Chesapeake, VA; and a brother, Michael Burkhardt of Ashland, KY. There will be no public services. He will be laid to rest at Heaberlin Cemetery in Wurtland, KY. Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY has been entrusted with arrangements.
