Wilma Evelyn Grizzle Bagby

Wilma Evelyn Grizzle Bagby, 94, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Mrs. Bagby was born on August 13, 1927, in Ashland, KY to the late Ralph and Emma Creech Grizzle. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her loving husband of Seventy-five years, Robert E. Bagby; four brothers: Harold Grizzle, Charles Grizzle, Orville “Jibo” Sargent, and Raymond Sargent; and a sister, Alma Click. Wilma was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She attended Oak Street Freewill Baptist Church in Flatwoods, KY. Wilma is survived by one son, Robert W. (Janet) Bagby of Flatwoods, KY; a daughter, Pam (Dan) Watts of Flatwoods, KY; six grandchildren: Robert W. (Karen) Rhodes, Angelia (Clay) Boyles, Tyler (Jessica) Bagby, Drew (Ann) Bagby, Nichole Rose, Katryna (Michael) Vinson; eight great-grandchildren: Danica Davis, Dakota Boyles, Shanna Richie, Sophia Bagby Grayson Bagby, Zephyr Bagby, Summer Vinson, and Jason Vinson; and a host of extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Oak Street Freewill Baptist Church (2202 Oak St Flatwoods, KY 41139) with Pastor Joey Vanmeter officiating.
