Yvonne Bonnie Louise Fields Kirk

Yvonne “Bonnie” Louise Fields Kirk, 83, of Raceland, KY, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019, at her residence. Mrs. Kirk was born September 24, 1935, in Flatwoods, KY, to the late John J. and Ella Blanton Fields. In addition to her parents Mrs. Kirk was preceded in death by one brother, James Wetzel Fields and two sisters, Colleen Fields Malavich and Katherine Fields Martin; and a son-in-law, Leonard Plowman. Mrs. Kirk was a homemaker who loved cooking and sewing. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Christ in Flatwoods, KY where she enjoyed attending Anchor Sunday School Class and was an important part of the Ladies Ministry since 1984. Mrs. Kirk is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Russell Leo Kirk of Raceland, KY; one son, Ronald Leo (Amy) Kirk of Creedmoor, NC; one daughter, Bonita Faye Kirk Plowman of Flatwoods, KY; one sister, Johnda (Greg) Dowdy of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods, KY with Pastor Shane Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, KY.
